8 cloves of chopped garlic
3 Tbsp. Crisco
2 chopped onions
2lbs. ground beef
4 pieces of celery
4 pieces of green pepper
1 bay leaf
1 large can tomato juice
1 large can(12oz. ) tomato paste
salt and pepper

3 lbs. ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 chopped celery
2-3 eggs
dry bread crumbs

Brown garlic, onions, ground beef, celery, and green pepper in Crisco. Add bay leaf, tomato juice, tomato paste, and 1 large can of water. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook until mixture becomes thick on low heat.

Cook ground beef, onion, celery, eggs, dry bread (2handfuls soaked in water), roll into balls and bake or cook. Add to sauce and simmer all day.
