2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 corn syrup
2 eggs
2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
1 1/2 cups raisins

Mix flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon & allspice together set aside. Melt margarine over low heat. Stir together margarine, sugar, corn syrup and eggs until smooth. Stir in oatmeal; then gradually add flour mixture. Mix well. Add raisins and nuts. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Press with greased and sugared glass. Re-grease glass as needed; dip in sugar for each cookie. Bake at 350 for 8 to 12 minutes, cool on sheet for 1 minute and move to cooling rack.
