12 cups zucchini squash
4 cups sliced onion's
5 Tbsp. salt
2 1/2 cups vinegar
6 cups sugar
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 Tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 tsp.tumeric
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 red pepper
1 green pepper

Directions:

Grind zucchini, onions & peppers. Mix well with salt and let set overnight, then drain and rinse well. In a large kettle mix sugar, vinegar, dry mustard, nutmeg, cornstarch, tumeric,celery seed and black pepper. Bring to a boil and then add the vegetables. Cook slowly for 30 minutes. Put in hot sterilized jars at once and seal.
