2 small acorn squash
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. applesauce
1 TB. maple syrup
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Wash, halve, and remove seeds from squash. Place squash halves, cut side down in a baking dish. Cover and cook in a microwave on high power for 6-9 minutes or until tender, rearranging 1 time. In a bowl, combine applesauce, maple syrup, nuts and cinnamon. Spoon applesauce mixture into squash halves. Cook on high about three minutes or until applesauce mixture is heated.
