1 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 c. Quick Oats
1/4 c. Shortening
1/3 c. Milk
2 c. Apples, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 c. Sugar

SAUCE:
1-1/2 tsp. Corn Starch
1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Corn Syrup
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Butter
2 c. Hot Water

Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add oats. Cut in shortening. Blend well. Add milk and mix. Let rest 5 minutes. Roll into rectangle 10x16. Lay apples over dough and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll like jelly roll. Cut into 6 portions. Pour 1/4 C. Sauce over each apple slice roll. Bake at 425º for 15 minutes then turn oven down to 350º and bake an additional 30 minutes.

For Sauce mix combine ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Pour remaining sauce over whirls before serving.
