1 German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. milk
1-1/2 sticks margarine
1 c. chocolate chips
1 lb. carmels

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels and milk in top of double boiler. Mix cake mix and margarine as for pie crust. Put half of the crumb mixture in greased 9X13 in. pan, bake for 5 min. at 350 degrees. Sprinkle chips over warm crust. Add caramel mixture and top with remaining crumbs. Bake 20 minutes more.

Amy uses 1/3 c. evaporated milk, along with the marg. in the cake mixture and 1/3 c. evap. milk (instead of regular milk) with the carmels.
