1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. veg. oil
2 apples, peeled, cored, and THINLY sliced
Vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat 2-3 inches of oil in deep fryer to 375º.
2. Place all ingredients EXCEPT apples in a small mixing bowl. Beat with a wire whisk until smooth.
3. Stir in apple slices.
4. Drop by tablespoonfull into hot oil 1-2 at a time. Fry until golden brown on one side. Use a fork to turn. Fry until gold brown on other side, total about 5 minutes.
5. Use a slotted spoon to remove. Place on absorbent paper towns.
6. Put 1/4 cup sugar into a bowl. Roll each fritter in sugar when they are still warm.
7. Serve and enjoy!
