Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Line an 8 inch square pan with foil; lightly grease foil.

Combine butter, shortening, flour, baking powder and salt; until crumbly. Add milk and mix until dough forms a ball. Press dough onto bottom of the prepared pan. Set aside.

Combine cream cheese, 2/3 cup sugar, 1/2 cup sour cream and orange extract until smooth. Add eggs; mix thoroughly. Pour this mixture over crust.

Bake bars until top is set, 35 to 40 minutes. Transfer pan to a wire rack. Leave oven on.

In a small bowl, combine remaining sour cream, sugar and vanilla extract. Spread mixture over top of baked bars.

Return pan to oven and bake until topping is set, about 5 minutes. Transfer pan to wire rack; let cool completely. Cover pan with plastic wrap and cool for at least 4 hours.

Using foil, lift bars out of pan and place on work surface; cut into squares. Garnish each square with 2 orange slices.
