Ingredients:  
1/2 cup salt
1 cup water
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 Tablespoons cooking oil
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Add food coloring to water and oil. In heavy sauce pan, mix dry ingredients and add water / oil mixture. Cook for 3 minutes until it pulls away from the sides of the pan. Remove from pan and cool slightly. Knead mixture until smooth. Store in air tight container.

Great inexpensive fun for the kids, especially on a rainy day. I can't count the times we made this, and the kids love inventing new colors.
