1/2 cup lard
1/2 cup warm water
1/4 cup sugar or less
3 cups unsifted flour
1 egg
1 yeast cake (1 1/2 teaspoons or 1 packet)
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast in warm water. Combine salt, egg, and flour. Beat and work well. Place in icebox. When ready for use, take out, work well, and pinch off pieces and put in well greased muffin pans. Allow 1 1/2 hours for rising. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
