1 large jar saurkraut
1 can beer
1 pinch caraway seed
1/2 jigger of sweet sherry
Directions:
Directions:
Wash kraut thoroughly in a collander under running water. Place kraut in a saucepan with beer, a pinch of caraway seed, and sweet sherry. Cook covered for about 40 minutes. If desired, you can also add diced potatoes and bratwurst or hot dogs to the pot.
