2 pounds frozen hashbrowns
1 stick butter, soft
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pint sour cream
1/2 cup chopped onion
Corn flake crumbs

Combine all ingredients, and place in a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle corn flake crumbs over the top. Bake at 350 uncovered for 45 minutes, until browned and bubbly.
