"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Nancy's Ghetto Dip, by Sheli Billeci, is from All My Children Gotta Eat,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 8 oz package cream cheese 1 can no bean chili (or any chili you prefer) 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Spread the cream cheese in the bottom of an 8 x 8 baking dish. Cover cream cheese with chili and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top. Bake in the oven at 375º for approximately 20 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted. Let stand for about 5 minutes. Serve with Fritos or Tostitos Scoops! Great appetizer for football games and parties!
