4 cups milk
6 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
1/4 cup water
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, mix together milk, egg yolks and sugar. Stir constantly over low heat until mixture thickens. Combine cornstarch with water and add to pan. Stir until mixture thickens further. Cook 2 minutes, keeping mixture below boiling point. Let cool, then add vanilla. Chill to refrigerator temperature. Stir in cream. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry, then fold in. Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to freezer directions.
