1/3 cup plus 2 Tbsp. Flour
1/3 cup plus 3/4 cup sugar
11/4 tsp. Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 egg
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup sour cream
6 medium-sized apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked and chilled
1/4 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F. In a bowl, sift together 2 Tbsp.of the flour, 3/4 cup of the sugar, 3/4 tsp.cinnamon and the 1/8 tsp.salt. Stir in the egg, vanilla and sour cream. Fold in the apples and spoon mixture into the pie shell. Bake 15 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 350F and bake 30 minutes longer. Meanwhile, combine the remaining flour, sugar, and cinnamon. With a pastry blender or fingertips, blend in the butter until mixture is crumbly. Increase the oven temperature to 400F. Sprinkle crumb mixture over the pie and bake 10 minutes longer. Serves 6.
