1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. granulated sugar
5 tbsp. butter, softened
1/3 c. milk
1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a 10x15 jelly roll pan, or a 9x13 cake pan. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, pie filling, vanilla, and eggs. Stir by hand until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 20-30 minutes or until done.
Frosting:
In a small sauce pan, combine the sugar, milk and butter. Cook over medium heat until it comes to a boil; boil for 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips. Pour over warm bars.
