6 yams or Sweet potato
3/4 cups of evaporated milk
1 stick of butter
2 cups of granulate sugar
6 eggs
6 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp of allspice
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 T of vanilla extract

boil potato's for 1 hour, peel and add all ingredient's
and the spices. pour into pie shell bake for 1hour at
350 F. This recipe will make three pies.

sweet potato pies are an holiday favorite . Especially around Thanksgiving's,Christmas, and Easter. For me any occasions. My Aunt Joan, made the best sweet potatoes pie. We all missed her holiday feast, she enjoyed cooking for husband and six children, her host of family and friends. She will always be remember.
