Slaw Mixture:
1 head cabbage or 1 bag of slaw mix
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped and seeded

Dressing:
1 bottle tomato catsup
1/2 cup sugar
Tabasco to taste
3 teaspoons dry mustard
Rinse catsup bottle with vinegar

Combine catsup, sugar, Tabasco, dry mustard, and vinegar. Toss dressing with slaw mixture. Do NOT add salt, which causes wilting.

We use to go to walking horse shows in the 60's and 70's. We had picnics with friends, and this was a recipe from those days. Men love it, and it lasts forever in the refrigerator.
