1 lb chicken livers
1 lb bacon

Directions:
Larger livers can be cut in half. Cut strips of bacon into 3 pieces. Wrap a piece of bacon around chicken liver and secure with a toothpick. Bake at 400º for 30 minutes or until done. For crisper bacon, broil for 30 seconds or so on each side after baking is finished.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Granny Bartlett used to fix this for Daddy and me for dinner but most people serve as an appetizer. You can also put a sliced water chestnut on the liver before you wrap the bacon around it.
