1 kg chicken drumsticks
2 slices bacon
1 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 to 3 cloves of garlic crushed
salt and pepper
1 can crushed tomatoes
2 teaspoons capers or 3 tablespoons black olives
1 tablespoon parsley (can use dried)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large frying pan, brown the chicken pieces in the oil. Dice the bacon and onion and add to the pan. Brown lightly, add the crushed garlic and cook briefly. Pour in the tomatoes, adding one can of cold water. Add the sugar, seasonings and herbs and bring to boil. Transfer to casserole dish, cover and cook in moderate oven for 1 hour until tender. Twenty minutes before final cooking time remove and add olives. Serve with white rice or buttered pasta. Delicious!
