4 oz. uncooked noodles
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cheese soup
1 tsp. salt
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna (drained)
1/4 c. vegetable shortening
2 T. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cook noodles in boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain. Melt shortening in large skillet; add onion and green pepper and cook until tender. Stir in soup, milk, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; add cooked noodles and tuna. Place mixture in a 1 1/2 or 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Bake at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes.
