4 C cornbread, crumbled
2 C biscuits/bread, crumbled
1 stick butter, melted
1 onion, chopped
1 C celery, finely chopped
2-3 C hot chicken broth *
Salt and pepper
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, combine cornbread and biscuits/bread. In saucepan over medium heat, saute onion and celery in butter until tender - do not brown. Pour butter mixture over crumbs. Stir in chicken broth, using enough to moisten. Add salt, pepper and eggs, blending well. Make into balls and put in large shallow baking dish. Dot with butter. Cover and bake for 20 minutes at 400º. Uncover and bake another 10 minutes. *turkey drippings can be substituted.
