1/2 C Quaker quick grits
1 egg, beaten
1/2 stick butter, cubed
1/2 lb Velveeta, cubed
Tabasco/Worcestershire sauce
Paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Cook grits according to pkg directions. After grits thicken, leave pan on stove top. Add beaten egg and butter. Add cheese in small amounts at a time stirring until melted. Add Tabasco/Westerners and salt/pepper, to taste - you can also add minced garlic. Pour into baking dish and sprinkle paprika. Bake at 350º for 20-30 minutes or brown on top.

This recipe is from my Grandmother Tutt and is a favorite of our family. All special occasions called for country ham, chicken salad, Southern slow cooked green beans, cheese grits, dressed eggs and homemade yeast rolls. YUM!!!
