1 c. Corn Syrup
1 1/2 c. Boiling Water
2 c. Raisins
2 Tbsp. Butter
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Cloves
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
3 c. Flour
1 tsp. Soda
2 tsp. Baking Powder

Boil first 9 ingredients. Cool, add the flour sifted with the soda and baking powder. Drop into well-greased loaf tins. Bake: 350 Time: 45 Minutes
