1 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can mixed vegetables
1 can wax beans
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 tbsp. flour (can add a little more for thicker sauce)
1 tbsp. prepared mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar, flour, mustard, vinegar, and salt to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring. Set aside to cool. Drain beans and vegetables. Add to cooled mixture. Add celery, onion and pepper. Store in a covered container in refrigerator. Will keep at least one month.

This is so good with a sandwich in the summer. I had never liked salads like this until I tried Arlee's.
