Ingredients: 1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese 2 c. milk 1 stick (8 tbsp) butter garlic or garlic salt black pepper 2-3 c. shredded parmesan cheese

Directions: |
Directions:Melt butter on Med-Low heat. Add garlic at this time if you are using real garlic. Once the butter is completely melted add the cream cheese and also allow to melt. Room temperature cream cheese is best to use. Add 1 c. milk slowly while whisking. Add a handful of parmesan cheese. Add 1 c. milk slowly while whisking. Add pepper (and if adding garlic salt) to taste. Allow the sauce to become thick and add as much parmesan cheese as desired to the sauce or allow individuals to add to their plate. Serve over noodles. |

Notes: To make this into a Cajun Alfredo sauce add cayenne pepper.
I typically put veggies and chicken in my sauce but this also tastes good plain.
