4 medium Japanese sweet potatoes
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp water
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp black sesame seeds
oil for deep frying

Directions:
Directions:
1. Clean sweet potatoes and cut into bite-sized pieces and soak in water for 15 minutes.
2. Pat dry and deep fry at 340 degrees until crispy and golden brown.
3. Place sugar, water, and soy sauce in a pan and bring to a boil. When glossy and sticky, add fried sweet potatoes and sesame seeds.
4. Mix to coat
