3 lbs. chicken
1 pkg. Italian salad dressing mix
4 tblsp. melted butter
1 sm. onion
1 clove garlic
1 can cream of chicken
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in crockpot and sprinkle Italian salad dressing mix over chicken. Drizzle 2 tblsp. butter over chicken. Cook on low for 6 hours. Melt 2 tblsp. butter in a saucepan and saute onion and garlic. Add cream of chicken, cream cheese, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth. Add to crock pot and cook on low an additional 1-1/2 - 2 hours.

Serve over rice.

I like to add mushrooms.

I remove bones before adding the 5 ingredients.
