2 lbs. chicken parts (or boneless chicken breasts)
2 tabl. oil
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup dry red wine
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teasp. oregano (or a little more)
1/8 teasp. salt
1/2 medium green pepper, cut into strips

Directions:

Brown the chicken in shortening, pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients, except green peppers. Cover and cook over a low heat for 30 minutes. Add the green pepper, cook another 15 minutes more or until chicken is tender. Stir every now and then.

I make this with the Russian Rice recipe. Bob loves this dish! When I make it too, I bake BOTH in the oven at the same time. Saves me some time!
