1/2 c. butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar
1 TB. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 1/4 c. flour
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the 1st 4 ingredients and press into 8" greased pan. Bake @ 350-375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool. Cream the cream cheese and sugar. Add the cool whip. Spread over cooled pastry. Chill. Spread pie filling over top and chill.

To double the recipe for 9 X 13, double the crust ingredients and do 1 1/2 times the filling and fruit topping.
