3/4 c. smooth peanut butter
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
about 30 Hershey Kisses or Hugs, unwrapped

Preheat oven to 350. Mix peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well blended. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon and mix until dough comes together. Roll into small balls and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Press down slightly, since the cookies will hold their shape fairly well. Bake 10-12 minutes. Press a kiss into the center of each cookie. Alternatively, make a thumbprint in each ball of dough and fill with jam before baking.
