1 c. quick-cooking oats
1 1/4 c. boiled water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flour

Topping:
1 stick margarine
1 c. milk
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. nuts
1 c. coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiled water over oats; let stand 20 minutes. After oats have soaked in hot water for 20 minutes, mix with brown and white sugars, margarine, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and flour. Bake at 350º for 30 to 40 minutes.

Topping: Mix together the margarine, milk, and brown sugar; boil until thick. Can add more sugar if not thick enough. Add nuts and coconut; put in oven on broil for 1 to 2 minutes.
