1 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 /2 tsp. baking powder 1 T. butter 1 egg 1 T. water
Mix dry ingredients together and cut in butter. Add egg and water (add more water if needed). Roll 1/8 inch thick and cut into squares. Drop into boiling broth or soup. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
These are more like homemade noodles than dumplings. We fight over the leftovers.
