3/4 pound sirloin strips
2 TB water
2 TB soy sauce
1 TB sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 pepper
1/4 ground red pepper
8 oz. red and green pepper
6 green onions
1/3 cup cold water
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 cups quick cooking rice
2 tsp. cooking oil

In a bowl, stir together 2 TB water, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, red pepper and black pepper. Add meat. Toss until coated. Cover and marinate at room temperature for 20 minutes. While beef is marinating, stir together 1/3 cup water and cornstarch. Set aside. Cook rice according to package directions. Spray a large skillet with nonstick coating. Add peppers and onions and stir-fry about two minutes or until vegetables are nearly tender. Remove vegetables. Add oil and then add beef mixture. Stir fry until brown. Push meat from center and stir cornstarch mixture and add to the center of skillet or wok. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minutes more. Stir in vegetables. Cover and cook for one minute. Serve over rice.

The seasonings on this are great. I usually put broccoli in instead of the green peppers. It's an easy dish to make.
