1 lb. Ground round**
1 med. Onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 15 oz. Can tomato sauce
1 12 oz. Can tomato paste
water for desired consistency
1 packet spaghetti seasoning mix
oregano
salt and pepper
1 Tbsp. Sugar
bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef with onion and green pepper and rinse in colander. In pot mix together beef mixture with all other ingredients. Simmer for at least ½ hour.

This is a great recipe to triple. Sauce can be divided and frozen.

**Substitute ½ of the ground beef with Jimmy Dean’s Hot Sausage for a spicier sauce.
