1 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 2 1/4 c. plain flour 1 egg yolk 1 1/4 c. finely ground pecans (chop and grind in blender or food processor) Confectioner sugar
Preheat oven to 375º. Mix all ingredients, excluding confectioner sugar. Mixture will resemble pie dough. Form into crescent shapes or balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Roll in confectioner's sugar and store in tightly sealed container.
