3/4 c. oil
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1egg & 1/4 c. water
1tsp vanilla
1 c. flour
1tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
3 c. old fashioned oats or quick
2c. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º
Beat shortening, sugars, egg, water &vanills together until creamy. Sift together flour, salt and soda add to creamed mixture. Blend well. Sift in oats & walnuts. Drop by tsp. onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 12 min.
