1 medium-sized rattlesnake (3-4 lbs.), cut into steaks
1/2 C flour
1/4 C cornmeal
1/4 C cracker crumbs
1/2 C milk
1 egg
1/4 tsp garlic powder (not garlic salt)
1 tsp salt
dash pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients.
Whisk milk into beaten egg.
Dip snake steaks in egg/milk mixture.
Coat dipped steaks with dry ingredients.
Fry, uncovered, in 400º oil until brown.
