3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. raw peanuts
1/2 tsp. red food coloring
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. real vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar, water. and syrup to a boil. Add peanuts and food coloring. Cook to hard ball stage. (250) on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat. Add butter, salt, and vanilla. Beat until mixture is thick and creamy. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. (You will need to work very fast at this point.) Let cool. Store in airtight container.
