1/2 T. dry yeast 1/2 c. warm water 7/8 c. scalded milk 2 c. flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 t. baking powder 1/2 t. sugar 1/2 t. oil oil for frying
In mixer, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add remaining ingredients and knead. Set aside for 10 minutes. Roll thin and cut into pieces approximately 4"X4". Heat frying pan with enough oil to cover the bottom (approx. 1/4" deep). Fry until golden brown on both sides.
