1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolk, slightly beaten
1/2 cup shortning
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine top 5 ingredients. Cook and stir over med. heat until thickened, about 12 min. Add coconut and nuts. Mix well. Cool until thick enough to spread, stirring occasionally.
