2 cups Flour, 1 cup butter, 1 cup plus 2 T. Water, 1 tsp. vanilla, 4 Eggs, 1 cup slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
MIx 1 cup of the flour, 1/2 cup butter, and 2 T. Water. Spread on a cookie sheet. For second layer bring 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter to a boil. Remove from heat add Vanilla. Quickly stir in the flour. Beat until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each one until mixture is shiney. Spread on top of first layer. Bake for 50 minutes at 350║Frost with a powdered sugar glaze and sprinkle almonds on top of it all.

Powdered sugar glaze is made by mixing 2 T. butter with 4 cups powdered sugar, and enough milk to make it thin enough to drizzle.
