4 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/3 c. sugar
2 c. cranberry juice cocktail
4 tea bags (we use black)
1 c. fresh orange juice (concentrate would work)
2 cinnamon sticks or1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice (a splash of concentrate would work)

In a large saucepan, pour boiling water over sugar, tea bags, cinnamon, and all-spice. Steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. Stir in fruit juices and heat again (a crock pot works nice). Garnish with orange and lemon circles if desired.

This punch has become part of a Martin family tradition. On the evening we go and pick out a Christmas tree, we come home and eat appetizers, drink punch and watch the claymation version of Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer.
