1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup canned pumpkin
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 T ginger
1/2 cup salad oil
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup nuts

Combine sugars, pumpkin, oil and eggs; beat well until blended. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and spices; add and mix well. Stir in water & nuts. Spoon into well greased 9x5x3" loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 65-75 min or until test done in center. Cool on rack.
