Crab Soup Recipe

1 pound crab
1 onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup chicken broth
1 quart half & half (I use nonfat)
sherry - optional

Saute onion and celery in butter. Add flour - stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute. Gradually add broth until thickened. Add salt, pepper, crab and a little sherry if desired.

Sometimes I add a little Old Bay
