Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Grease a 8x12" pan. Combine first three ingredients and one cup of the cheddar cheese; put into the casserole dish. Blend soup and 3/4 cup of milk; pour over casserole. Bake, covered, for 15 minutes. While it's baking combine the biscuit mix, 2/3 cup of milk, and 1/2 can of onions; mix thoroughly. Drop by spoonfuls to form biscuits around the edge of the casserole. Bake uncovered for 15/20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown. Top with remaining onions and cheese, bake another 2/3 minutes, until onions are toasted.
