4 lbs beef short ribs
1/3 C. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 medium onions, sliced
1/4 C. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Place meat in shallow glass dish. Mix mustard, lemon juice, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper; spread on meat. Top with onions. Cover tightly; refrigerate 24 hours, turning meat occasionally.

Brown ribs in shortening over medium heat; pour off drippings. Add onions and our marinade over meat.

Cover tightly; cook in 350 oven for 2 hours.
