1 stick butter or margarine
½ cup oil
¼ cup cocoa
1cup water
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 eggs
½ cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Frosting:
1 stick butter
¼ heaping cup cocoa
6 Tbsp. milk, ½ and ½ or evaporated milk
16 oz. powder sugar, sifted
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients and bring to a boil. Mix sugar and flour together and add boiling cocoa mixture. Mix well and add eggs. Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to the cake. Add vanilla and cinnamon. Pour into a 9 X 13 pan and bake at 350o for 30 minutes. Make icing during the last few minutes of cooking time. Bring butter cocoa and evaporated milk to a boil. Pour over sifted powder sugar and beat until creamy. Stir in 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 cup pecans. Pour icing over cake immediately after removing cake from the oven.
