1 egg
1 c. seasoned bread crumbs
¼ c. chopped onion
½ -1 tsp salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 ½ lbs ground beef
1 c. shredded pepper jack cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper. Add beef and mix well. Press ½ beef mixture into bottom and halfway up sides of loaf pan. Sprinkle ¾ c. cheese down middle of beef mixture. Pat remaining beef over cheese. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until meat is no longer pink & meat thermometer reaches 160 degrees. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with marinara sauce.
