Ingredients:
2 c. oatmeal
c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. butter, melted and cooled

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Add buttermilk, mix. Add eggs and mix. Then stir in butter. (May use a little more buttermilk.) (You can use a combination of quick oats and old fashioned oats.)

If you double this, you use 1 tall container of buttermilk and 1 stick of butter. It is great to pre-mix the dry ingredients for camping or cabin and then just bring or buy the buttermilk, eggs and butter to be mixed when making.
